Angel pulled herself up just a little, for a better position, wincing as she did so.
At least the swelling around her eye was slowly starting to go down, and they'd set her nose. Painful, still.
"Ah appreciate this," she said. "Aiden okay? Ah had to practically order him out the door to go get himself somethin' to eat."
