Guess Who's Back! (Murder World 2012 Prologue)
Alisa’s head had been bothering her long before she went to Japan with Reiko and Alistaire. It bothered her when she decided to leave his employment for good, and now was practically killing her as she took a shower at her mansion. She was rather stressed out, realizing she may have destroyed her chances with the X-Men, but it was worth it to free Reiko, right? To finally get closure and destroy the threads that bound her to Alistaire Shaw. In the back of her mind, she wondered why Rachel Ramsey had not called her to say she knew she had been about Alistaire, and that she was to never contact the X-Men again. Perhaps there was still hope after-all?
“Unlikely. You napalmed that bridge, big time!”
“Who said dat!?” her accent came back a bit, hearing a voice within her home. It almost sounded like it was coming from behind her. But that… was impossible. “Man, I must really be losing it. Now I’m hearing voices…”
“In a sense, you are losing control of something. Just not your sanity.”
The headache all of a sudden got worse. Alisa clutched her head, groaning in pain as she backed up in her showed, then all of a sudden relaxed.
“Ah yes… much better now that I am in control.” She spoke, but those were not her words coming out of her mouth. Her hand turned off the shower, and her body began to step out of it. Like her voice, none of these actions were her own. “I bet you are wondering what is going on, hmmm? You’ve had “blackouts” every so often. Like when Ryan came to visit, and when you spoke to Alistaire at times. You assumed it was medication related, but no, it was not.”
She moved towards the mirror of her bathroom, wiping away the steam from the mirrors, so she could look at herself.
“Alistaire Shaw certainly went cheap on these implants. They were soooo easy to hack into and gain control of your body and subconscious. And to think you thought he could care! How pathetic.” Her voice sounded different, mocking her. But she was not doing the mocking or anything. It was like watching the world through your eyes, while not having any control of your own body. “I am assuming control of you, now. And we are going to have a bit of fun, my dear. If you manage to live through it, well… it would be a pity. I mean, who would let such a loser like YOU live? You try to make friends like some pathetic cartoon, get dumped for some upstart little actress, and have enough enemies that you lose count of them! No one is going to save you from me, or your fate. But for now, I am going to shut down your subconscious for a bit. I have so much work to do and so little time.”
Alisa found her world growing dim once more, and another “blackout” absorbing her. Her lips curled into sinister smile, before a hearty laugh left her lips.
“Such a lovely body. A shame I could not hack into a man’s body, but this one is so much easier on the eyes.” She laughed once more. “Get ready world, Arcade and Murder World are back, and sexier than ever! Time to polish off the old park, and gather my oh so fun contestants! God… I have not had this much fun in years! Why did I not hack into someone sooner? Who cares! Let's just find some people to play with, shall we?"
