It had been whole weeks since she'd been in the pages of Miss Report. Oh joy. While she realized that reading Miss Report was significantly below her level, it was nonetheless important to keep an eye on the public perception of one's self, particularly as she geared up to play a more prominent role in certain social movements. As far as "scandals" went, however, this one was practically nonexistent.

While it was all patently false, all it was really claiming that she and Brooke were a happy couple who happened to be obscenely wealthy. Nothing actually actionable there- Miss Report usually managed to skim that fine line between being scandalous and libellous and nothing that really cried out for public comment, in her opinion. She was aware that Brooke might feel differently, though.

She took a sip of her coffee and set the gossip rag aside. She had work to do with real estate agents, developers, professors and members of the board. One could only waste so many precious seconds on such ludicrous fripperies.
