Tears shone in Roxie's eyes. "I do. I need you to understand that this has absolutely nothing to do with you. I'm going through something right now, and I don't want to drag you through it. It wouldn't be fair to you, or to Audhild, to be subjected to that." She turned away from him and instead looked out a nearby window. "The apartment is yours to keep. I'm going to be crashing somewhere else for a little while, while I sort things through."
