She'd hesitated for a moment before answering the phone. Roxie and Vincent hadn't exactly spoken much to each other lately, and with everything else that had gone on in her life - Joe, her brother Alex, all of that - she'd kept herself somewhat busy.

She braced herself for a long moment, set down some of the plans that her mother had sent her for the launch of Young Woman magazine, and answered.
