From behind Jay, Lena reached into his mind, and began shutting things down. Nearly all of his conscious functions, like movement, but not any of his senses, because it's just no fun when they don't know what's happening.

Then she set to work on the trickier, autonomic portions of his brain. She disconnected his limbic system from his endocrine system and adrenals, because it just wouldn't do to have a full blown Hulk crashing around, now would it?
