The Green Goblin fired a last blast toward another pair of civilians who were running but hadn't yet attacked the others. He hovered over the room on his glider as he watched who ran and who didn't.
"I know how it goes in this city but, really, don't anyone try to be a hero here. It'll go badly for the regular ol' Joes if you do." Gobby said.
"In fact...I'll be leaving now. I think my friends are having their fun elsewhere and this party's a drag." he said as the glider began to hover backwards from the direction he came.
Truth was, the Goblin realized that close-quarters against these people would doom him quicker than a protracted fight above the city streets. Playing to one's strengths was the mark of a true genius, after all.
