"You're being way too kind to me, but it's nice. I just wish...well, I just wish I'd thought to do this sooner. If I'd stopped imagining what you'd say and just asked you, we might have been having awesome burgers sooner." Brianna said.

"I'm still worried about my powers, though. If they don't go back to normal, it's going to take me awhile to adjust and learn them again. And if something happens, I wouldn't be able to help out until I had myself under control." she said.

Brianna's musings were interrupted as the food was brought to their table. The waiter smiled a both ladies warmly as he put down their orders and then asked them if they needed anything else.

"I'm fine, thank you." Brianna said as she looked to Kayla.
