It was going so well, whatever exactly was going on and then the speaker blew out. Kayla didn't notice at first, but when the voices started speaking, she pulled away a little bit, looking around. It didn't take long for the owner of the coffeeshop to come out and glare at ... not Brianna or Kayla, but at the patrons.
"So what if they are glowing?" A surprisingly burly man for a coffeeshop owner, he walked up to them.
Kayla looked at Brianna for a moment. "You all right?" Her hand went back to Brianna's, but reassuringly this time. "It'll be okay. Coffeeshop Bob doesn't like talk about deviants, and doesn't care whether people are mutants or not."
She offered Brianna a small smile. "And everyone knows the speakers were kinda on the edge of blowing out anyway." She nods.
