The vibratory energy from Vesper's bracer threw off the gang members' balance and coordination. Their shots went all over the place before the collapsed into dizzy heaps.

The thug's head jerked forward as Hellkitten's feet hit their mark. He grunted as he toppled forward into unconsciousness. The remaining gang members were turning around to fire at the jumping kitten. They did not particularly care where their shots were going that were not hitting their target.

Down the block behind Vesper, a limo was coming up the street. It looked wildly out of place in the rundown neighborhood. Thumping music was echoing out of the open sunroof along with loud feminine laughter.
