He was quiet for a moment. He hadn't been back to Veridian since it had been attacked. He wasn't sure how he felt going back at this point, but it didn't matter to him. He had overriding concerns.

"I'll be there shortly," he said as he put his car in gear to merge back into traffic. "See you soon."

He disconnected the call and put his phone back around his wrist. Then he drove to his office building as fast as he could manage.
