"Careful. I might be asking a lot of your presence. You're a busy man." Stephanie smiled slightly, feeling Sancho snuggle up against her, purring. "I can do some of my mutant town project stuff from here, and a lot of it is basically self-regulating. I do need someone just to keep an eye on it."

She felt bad asking him- she knew he had a lot on his plate as it was, but she needed to be here for her own long-term safety and self. And it was important work that couldn't be slowed down.

"As soon as any of this is even remotely stable ... can we get married?"
