Alexander busied himself for exactly nineteen minutes and fifty-seven seconds while trying to keep his composure. He wanted to see Brooke but he didn't want to appear desperate or overly-eager. He was apprehensive as well but the idea of being near her made it worthwhile.

Alexander appeared beside her in an eyeblink and smiled.

"You look beautiful, as always." he said, taking her hand and kissing it.

He'd seen something about people having issues with mutants on TV but summarily ignored it, just as he ignored the stares from some of the people who saw him teleport in.
