"It's not that they're afraid of your magic as much as it is that they're afraid of how you wield it," Nicky replied. "No one's saying that you're intentions are bad, Vincent, but...I think that maybe you need to prove yourself while apart from the Avengers. Accomplish something. Show the team what you can do on your own. Use your powers and your technical know-how smartly and responsibly and maybe things will start looking in your favour." Nicky sighed and gently rubbed the back of his neck. "It's easier said than done, I know, but I'm sure you can manage something."
