Ryan blinked, looking down at the envelope. He looked back up at Alisa and stared at her quietly, for a long moment. He got it. He understood it. They were, at the very least, friends. There were no hard feelings on Ryan's part, after all, and it was probably better that whoever had power of attorney was someone who wasn't directly connected in Alisa's dealings with Alistaire.
He nodded and then took the envelope, tucking it into his messenger bag. That was going to be a fun conversation with Mellie, if the topic ever came up.
"That's a lot to take in, Alisa," he said. "But alright. Although I'm sure it won't come to that." He took another sip of the Mexican Coke. "But seriously. Get whatever information you can. Take it to SHIELD. Let them handle the nitty-gritty. Heck, maybe they'll even let you become an agent of theirs."
