Even with the one large tragic moment, Marcelo thought his life had been happier than hers. He had parents who loved him and showed him that affection. He had large amounts of family and friends. (As Stephanie saw at the crowded reception.)

"I have you. I can't get happier than that." He paused a beat. "Even with the impending trouble I will get into for not hearing bitching."

The car ride was quicker than expected as the driver managed to avoid some of the more horrible spots of traffic. The vehicle slowed to a stop on a fairly well-to-do street.
