"Besides...Alex has been needling me about it for a month. 'Are you two /ever/ going to have sex? The tension in this apartment is thicker than butter'." Joe said, doing a passable impersonation of her brother.

"I'd think he'd be more interested in his own sex life. I hear he's dating some famous chick." Joe said. "Practically snatches the paper out of my hand every day to read the society page."
