"Or they're there to distract you. Seems to be working." She gave Felicity a wink as she grabbed a small bag out of the bottom drawer. She straightened up with a momentary slight frown.

"I've never really had one. A relationship, I mean. I've had a fling or two. But with my ambitions, it seemed hard to find time and someone to have a relationship with. And despite all this flirting, I'm... possibly more cautious than I'm letting on." She paused and shrugged. Now was possibly not the time to get into how scared she would be if she put her heart on the line.
