The Mannequins continued their attacks. If Athos took out one, two took it's place. It felt as though it were never ending, as their numbers never appeared to go down.

However, their appeared to be a way out of it all! Near-by, there was an open sewer cover. Not just any sewer cover, but one big enough for Athos to get in and cover securely! The automatons kept walking past it, not even falling in! Perhaps they were blind to it or programed to avoid it.
