Half of the Automaton's head came off from the attack, and it's shrieking stopped. What did not stop, however, were the other automatons who were alerted to it's call. Though they moved at a quick speed, it was not fast enough to get to Athos before he reached the house with the kill switch.

Inside, the house replicated one of the pictures he saw inside of the photo album not long ago. Same mermaid lambs, same gaudy couch, same fuzzy carpet. It was like the damn place had not changed since the 1960's! But that did not matter, what mattered was finding that kill switch and heading for the exit!
