"Well then, I guess I am going to have to force your..." Suddenly, Arcade dropped, almost like a broken doll. The neurological implants were blinking yellow for a few seconds, before starting to glow orange.
"Something must have disrupted Arcade's control over her! Now's our chance!" Francis pointed out, trying to grab the scepter from Spider-Man to take out Alisa.
"I don' recommend dat." Alisa's eyes finally came into focus, looking up at Francis, then the rest of the group. She spoke with her accents, which came and went because of the implants, but was the best way to show she was in control of herself. for now, anyway. "Arcade's control has been spotty at best. Where-ever he is... his wi-fi keeps goin' out. I'm bettin' he's usin' Comcast."
She actually made a joke. She made a joke!
"It's gonna take'em less den five minutes to regain control of my body, again. So I suggest you do me a solid, and either hit me with some kind o' electrical charge while you can, or get out o' here." She managed a frown. "I do not want to hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it. If dat means livin' de rest o' my life alone somewhere wit' barely any braincells to rub together... den so be it. I know I said I would rather be dead den dat outcome... but I refuse to give dis bastard what he wants."
