Ten minutes appeared to be like Christmas for her. Alisa followed Mary out of her room, venturing through the Pier for the first time. Even when she dated Ryan, she was not allowed anywhere near this place! It was like a big maze, so she held on to Mary's hand and let her take her outside of it.

Once outside, she could smell the salt from the ocean and feel the sun on her skin. It felt wonderful! Alisa broke away from Mary to wander about, never straying too far, nor staying too close.
