Topher laughed and splashed Kayla back, putting a little bit of force into the splash. "Sometimes a lazy float is good," he said, throwing himself onto his back and just floating. He wriggled a bit and sat up, treading water, at Dolemeck's comment. Sparkling blue eyes widened in surprise and he traded a look with Kayla.

"Thanks for the compliment," he said, waving at Dolemeck. "That's, uh, really sweet."
