Alexander reached into his pocket and pulled out a small, gold ring with a large diamond in the center. He looked a little nervous as he took Brooke's hand and slid it onto her finger.
"Every since you told me about your dream wedding, I've been thinking about this. I had it resized. I will get you a bigger ring later but...this one belonged to my grandmother on my mother's side. She gave it to her. And Mom gave it to me. She wanted me to give it to the woman I marry, who will then pass it down to her daughter. I'm really just a pit stop in this ring's travels." Alexander jested.
"Brooke Aurelia Wyngarde...will you marry me someday soon?" he asked.
