Ilya had been on his way to the library, mostly because that's where Dolemeck could be found. The explosions sounded... familiar? For a moment the explosion in the past that had nearly killed him flashed through his mind, and then he was back in the here and now with considerably more panic.

The second he sees someone come through the opening in front of him, he shoves them with his mind, as hard as he can. He's fairly sure he just hurt whoever it was horribly but there's got to be more of them, and he loses his ability to focus when he realizes he needs to get to Dolemeck.

So in spite of the fact that he can barely find his way around here on a good day, he runs in what he's fairly sure is the direction of the library, heart pounding.
