A fortunate set of circumstances (depending on who you ask, anyway) occurred. Rose dodged slightly out of the way of the shot, but the blast tore through her shoulder and knocked her down, bleeding profusely.

This, at least, saved her from a vibranium head knocking.

Didn't mean it didn't hurt like hell though.
