The Purifiers were unmoved by her excuses. She may have been a child, but she was a mutie. All muties needed to be wiped from the face of the planet like the plague they were.

The ones outside followed her glide path and chased. Occasionally stopping to fire off a shot to try to kill the mutie in midair.

The ones inside looked up at climbing on the roof and said something along the lines of 'forget it.' They decided to hunt down muties inside the building.
