The Purifier got wide-eyed when his flamethrower was nothing but vapor. He watched a little dumbly as it traveled as vapor.

The other Purifier in the hallway grabbed the one in the doorway by the tabard and yanked him out of the doorway. Just in time for a gout of flame to sizzle some of that skin.
