Nika sat in the security office of the embassy, watching the monitors. They had prepped as best they could and evacuated all non-essential personnel. And those that were left were mostly on the upper floors. Lisa was back at their shared apartment making sure everything didn't blow away there.

The howling winds outside made the mostly empty embassy sound spooky. Nika puffed out a breath and continued to watch for any breaks in the sandbagged walls.
