"Better dig in, or I might eat them all." Stephanie teased as she took a bite out of a stroopwafel. She closed her eyes for a moment in pleasure.

She had no doubt there would be a lot of stress ahead, but for right now, she was trying not to think of anything but the delicious food and the man she was sharing it with. And their furry little baby, who at the moment, wasn't there.
