TV Killed the Radio Star (Open to Mansion Folk)
He really did not want to, but Dolemeck honestly felt he had no choice but to finally give in and be a part of the reality TV show based on his Father. All he would have to do is act, right? Pretend they were a happy family, that his parents were not addicts, and he was a good son going to a good school in the States. But when the cameras were not filming? It was complete chaos.
The damn thing had not aired, yet. They had only three episodes in full, and needed another nine before the Summer ended. Producers kept trying to tell him to be more "interesting", even trying to set him up with some starlet his age for publicity. He thankfully knew well enough to turn that down, but everything else he did. He performed music for the cameras, ate meals with his folks, then at the end of the day... take a cab back to the mansion.
After the cab dropped him off inside the gates of the mansion, Dolemeck decided to take a bit of a walk before heading inside. It was only dusk, and there was still some light on the grounds to enjoy. Despite it being the Summer, he had on his leather coat, matching pants, and a long sleeved white shirt. If anything, he appeared more ready for winter than anything else.

Re: The Very Next Day
"Yeah..do I know you?" He tried to wrack his mind for anything Rose may have told him.
Re: The Very Next Day
He then looked at all the candy that Sean had amassed.
"Are you planning to rot your teeth out? These candies are sweeter than anything across the pond!"
Re: The Very Next Day
Sean laughed at that.
"Benefit of my mutation. Body stays naturally in tip-top shape, so I can binge once in awhile. Name's Sean," he said, extending a hand.
Re: The Very Next Day
Was he blushing, yeah he was blushing. Everyone had a cooler mutation than he did. His was just so... common.
"We should not probably talk about our abilities in public. It could cause for some issues." He was secretive about being a mutant, still... but also worried that something like the Purifiers could happen, once more.

Re: The Very Next Day
"Frankly, I am bloody exhausted... and the caffeine in this drink is not doing much for me." Just as he said that, there was a click, like that of a camera. Ugh... they did follow him in. "I probably should have just headed back to the school."
Re: The Very Next Day
"Go ahead, hon," the cashier said with a wink.
"This way, Sean urged with a hand wave. "We can head out the back and down this winding alley. Takes you out by a coffee shop. SHould be able to lose your admirer there."
Re: The Very Next Day
After a quick run past the coffee shop and into another alley, they finally lost them. He put his back up against the wall, trying to catch his breath.
"This is exactly why I did not want to do this bloody project! How can anyone stand this sort of treatment? No wonder Da is bombed all the time." He muttered, before turning to Sean. "Thank you for your help..."
Re: The Very Next Day
When they were in the clear, Sean responded. "Sure, no problem. Rose would kick my ass if I didn't lend a student a hand," he said with a chuckle.
Re: The Very Next Day
He grinned a little at Sean's comment about Rose.
"She would be rather mad if I came back home looking a mess, again. Grab me by the ear, she would!"
Re: The Very Next Day
"Oh lord, I can just picture her yelling about kicking "yer keister"!" Sean laughed, a fond smile on his face.
Re: The Very Next Day
"And that slight pouty, yet angry face she gets to boot!" He had a large smile on his own face, now. He patted his coat to find his lighter and pack of cigarettes, mostly out of habit than anything else.
Re: The Very Next Day
Re: The Very Next Day
"Regardless, I always found Rose to be more adorable than threatening. But do not let her know that. It might hurt her ego."
Re: The Very Next Day
He waves that off. "Don't worry, Rose's ego isn't that hard to damage..granted I still wouldn't say that within earshot of her."
Re: The Very Next Day
"If I said that within earshot of Rose, she would have me hide!" He continued to chuckle. "Right now, I do not think she is interested in any relationships, though. She just got through a tough break up from what me ear heard."
Re: The Very Next Day
Re: The Very Next Day
A mansion full of teenagers was bond to have rumors like this, after-all.
"Regardless, try and step carefully. None of us want to see Rose with a broken heart, and her partner with broken legs. Especially nice ones like yours."
Was he flirting... crap he was flirting. Perhaps he was too relaxed. Dolemeck quickly shut his pie hole and went back to finishing off his cigarette.
Re: The Very Next Day
He raised an eyebrow at that, but said nothing for the moment. "I grew up with Rose. At this point I've got a good grasp what I can and can't get away with."
Re: The Very Next Day
He chuckled again, before finally putting his cigarette out on one of his leg braces.

"Plus, we can bust Rose's chops together! How is that not a good time?"
