Attack on New York (All US teams on deck!)

The Avengers will arrive in Time's Square in short order. They will see Frost Giants moving out quickly. There are a few standing guard over something but there is nice and snow shooting up into the air so it isn't obvious right away that it is the Cask of Winter.

But there are many Frost Giants gathered here. It is an invading army.

Remi's brow furrowed as concentrated on containing the gas. He knew the rest of the team could come up with a way to get rid of the acidic gas. He just had to hold his shields together under the attack of corrosion.

Ryan concentrated as well, his brow furrowed. There was a little bit of sweat dripping from his forehead as he backed Remi up, throwing his powers over Remi's, so that if Remi lost concentration, at least Ryan's shields were there to hold the acidic gas stuff in.

That was the benefit of a one-track mind, really. You threw all of your everything into one thing.

It would be undignified and unprofessional to say Wheeeeeee right now, so he didn't. Instead, he concentrated on looking the city over for a likely target.

"There!" He called to Mary, pointing to a construction site. They were still pouring foundations, so they should have plenty of cement on hand.

Griffin is making a few more calculations. He knows once they get the cement they need to put a little bit of pressure to make sure to trap the acid.

That should be easy enough.

Mary swooped down toward the construction site, letting Jacob down before she landed.

"Cement mixer... cement mixer... where's the blasted cement mixer..."

It didn't take long to find what they needed. Jacob could carry several of the large bags and he figured Mary could, too. They should be able to bring enough. Man, he sure hoped they could.

Hefting the bags, he looked over at Mary. "Ready?"

Ryan was certainly ready. The brightness of cosmic energy that surrounded his body was starting to wane, and the sparkles were getting...less sparkly.

Remi glanced at his back-up getting less bri-...sparkly. He was going to have a pounding headache himself soon. His shields would falter if he had to start fighting off pain.

"Hurry up on the cement," he ordered through the communicator. "This stuff is eating away at my shields and Ryan's overextended himself a bit."

Mary changed shape again, turning into something with wings and tentacles and big enough to carry Jacob and several large bags.

Once they were situated, she flew.
