Vesper wanted to fire another flare at the infernal taxi but he would have to waste time reloading. Instead, he threw the flare gun at the taxi's grill as he pulled the woman closer.

He used his silencing powers to hide the noise of the engine portion of his wings. He put it to full throttle to get the pair of them in the air. He pushed off with his legs to get them aloft and let his wing pack do the rest.
