Life Under A Magnifying Glass
While some of the furor over the revelation that Xavier's was a school for mutants had died down, there were still reporters broadcasting from outside the school gates. There were daily reports on what they thought was going on in the school and more reports on what public officials were doing to calm fears. As reporters dug for soundbites to fill the air, little bits of "news" were put out for the public to see.
As the world looked in, the X-Men tried to keep doing their daily routines. Though as more news was reported it became more difficult to live there formerly anonymous lives.

Sara opened her eyes, and took in the fallen couch, then Angel and Aiden leaning over her.
"Ohmigod."
no subject
She looked over at Aiden. "What's this 'bout Mojo now?"
no subject
"Mojo has made a porno and put it on the net. It looks like Sara and me. Except Sara isn't that flexible, and you and I have never had sex in Sara's room. Well, when it was Sara's room. I don't remember if we did it in there while we were remodeling..."
no subject
"Wait. You guys did it in MY room?!?"
no subject
"Of course not! We got more class than that!"
no subject
"Might not have been where your room currently is?" He added to be helpful. "But we should probably figure out how to get all the Mojo cameras out of the base. I don't think they looped into Val's security system because she didn't put those in our bedrooms."
no subject
"I'm flexible. I do yoga. Ohmigod, how would you know how flexible I am, anyways?"
She sat up.
"If all else fails, I could EMP the place. Or maybe EMP Mojoworld."
no subject
She sucked in a breath. "Oh. Mah. God."
no subject
Though he did notice the girls' god was getting a lot of lipservice today.
"You EMP this place, you'd fry a lot of our stuff. And then we'd have to replace it. If the cameras have been here awhile, and I'm betting they have, they might be shielded just because Sara lives here. Getting to Mojoworld is near impossible with assistance from Spiral, and I don't want to ever see her again." Being tortured once was enough for him. Also, he was feeling a lot calmer about this porno thing than he thought he should be.
no subject
"You're right. EMPing is too good for that fat sack of slime. I'll nuke him like the multiiverse's biggest bag of popcorn instead."
She thought for a moment.
"You know, if we could just find the things, I could focus-fry them. With a little luck, it might even feed back to Mojo's equipment."

"Otherwise, we might need to call in help?"

Sara thought through the options. Who had the kind of technology needed to detect an interdimensional spy camera?
"It's got to use some kind of funny phased signal to transmit. If it was microwave, or even the kind of sub-space tachyons that the Shi'Ar and Kree use on their ships, I'd have seen it. Unless they've got a sensor so they only phone home when no one's around."
no subject
She thought. "Maybe... we turn off power to the building, you can find anything still runnin'?"
no subject
He considered the suggestion. "We could give it a try. Also, would Sara see anything mystical? If Spiral had a hand in it, then there could be magic."

"If we can find a place we can afford that will ley us bring Cedric. Otherwise, you girls could go to Xavier's while I stick around here." He was not keen on staying elsewhere. It meant Mojo chased him out of his home. Though something in his DNA made him not quite as disturbed by being watched as the girls.

Sara paced back and forth.
"I don't like the idea of that bloat forcing us out of our own home. I do like the idea of hanging sheets and signs all over the place telling his audience just what a miserable loser he is."
She turned to the nearest wall, held up both middle fingers, and mouthed 'You Suck' at it.
