On the Hunt
Panther's Blood Force eventually got their trans-reality portal to open again. There was some time lag and even greater distance shift between when they left and where they arrived. The five dimensionally-displace villains arrived at North Carolina's Outer Banks slightly disorientated from the journey. As they got their bearings, Blood Witch took a breath of the salty air.
She looked to the others of Blood Force. They looked hungry for action and slightly disappointed they weren't getting any right away. She took stock of their surroundings. No annoying superheroes were there yet. Which was both good and bad. Good in that they could lay a trap. Bad in that they had no one to call their prey to them.
She ran her tongue over her pointed canines. "Mm. Quiet little world here. Let's make it a little louder. Sandstorm, make this sandbox ours. Rough Justice, scout the area. Iron Maiden, Blackdog, get the authorities to come. I want a surprise for the soon to be dead crown prince."
The escaping nuisance from last reality had probably warned Remi deNamor. Blood Force would not have much time to set things up. The little almost king would be here soon. Possibly with others to slay.

He marched through the chaos, eyeing the fights already in progress and itching to jump in, but he had a task and everyone looked to be holding their own. The suit hovering over the water made a nice, shiny target, though...
Just as he was looking around for something to throw, he noticed two police cars just sitting there. Not completely strange, except that he could see people sitting in them. Cops, in the middle of all this, just sitting around?
Suspicious, he headed over to check it out. Maybe they needed help.

Blood Witch's red on black eyes narrowed as she tugged at her connection to the two bitten police officers. Shoot him.
The police officer in Blood Witch's cruiser got out of his car to fire; the other police office shot at Jacob through his windshield.

And not through a windshield, either. What the heck?
He ambled closer, trying to look inside the cruiser, ignoring the bullets ricocheting off his skin.

"Oh, just distract him," she ordered as she smoothly stepped out the open door to the backseat.
As she got to her feet, the police holstered their guns and ran to tackle Jacob. Or at least bounce off him and grab at his legs.

While her thralls distracted, Blood Witch darted around to behind Jacob. Then she jumped to try to get on his back and warp her arms around that thick neck. She needed purchase to see if her fangs could go through that very hard skin.

"No free rides, lady!"

Then she took in a breath, hoping this worked.
Blood Witch attempted to bite some part of that massive neck to get psionic control of this bruiser.

And then he started to get a little brain fuzzy.

She let go of Jacob's neck and slid down his back. She spit out whatever was in her mouth.
"You will listen and obey." The two police officers in Jacob's hands stopped struggling and said they would, but she waited for her newest plaything to follow suit.
no subject
"... listen and obey," he muttered, still holding the unresisting policemen in his fists.
no subject
"Set down my playthings," she ordered. She meant the police officers in Jacob's large hands.
"Then go and kill the Remi. This is taking far too long."
