On the Hunt
Panther's Blood Force eventually got their trans-reality portal to open again. There was some time lag and even greater distance shift between when they left and where they arrived. The five dimensionally-displace villains arrived at North Carolina's Outer Banks slightly disorientated from the journey. As they got their bearings, Blood Witch took a breath of the salty air.
She looked to the others of Blood Force. They looked hungry for action and slightly disappointed they weren't getting any right away. She took stock of their surroundings. No annoying superheroes were there yet. Which was both good and bad. Good in that they could lay a trap. Bad in that they had no one to call their prey to them.
She ran her tongue over her pointed canines. "Mm. Quiet little world here. Let's make it a little louder. Sandstorm, make this sandbox ours. Rough Justice, scout the area. Iron Maiden, Blackdog, get the authorities to come. I want a surprise for the soon to be dead crown prince."
The escaping nuisance from last reality had probably warned Remi deNamor. Blood Force would not have much time to set things up. The little almost king would be here soon. Possibly with others to slay.

Re: Rough Justice
"C'mon, you pansy," he called out. "Or are you afraid you're too weak up close?"
He knew his orders. Keep whatever people helping Remi busy until Sandstorm or someone else killed the prince.

At least he had this dim bulb's attention. Peacock corona and all.

Crap!
The corona around Ryan flared brighter, almost as though it was a lightbulb going off.
He whirled around. "The Aqua-dudes!"

If the repulsor bit didn't work, he hoped the concussive blasts that came from contact did something.

However, he fired up the afterburn speed system on his feet to send flames at Ryan. It also had the advantage as a way to get himself up if it worked.

He tapped a small panel near his neck, out of Ryan's line of sight. "Keep it up, buttercup."
A few motions with his fingers and his suit was charging up with the energy Ryan was putting out.

Maybe he could blast himself away from the jerkface.

He noticed that the blasts were going into the sandy ground. He decided to lay where he was and see where this went. Either the kid lifted them both up or her blasted a whole in the sandy beach below them.

Not exactly what he wanted. Switching tactics, Ryan let the cosmic energy his body produced start to build up within him. His skin thrummed and gooseflesh pricked up across his bare forearms and neck as he did so.
If he couldn't fly away, that was fine. Ryan instead would unleash a blast of cosmic energy enough to blast Rough Justice's armour apart.

"Experiment time!" Rough Justice jumped to his feet and used superspeed from his armor to help him run a ring around Ryan. As he moved, he tried tossing lots of sand on the blond to see if the explosion would make a nice, sandy 'whomph' when the energy exploded.

Sharp shards of glass fell from the explosion. Some, he hoped, would attack RJ.
