Administrivia ((Open to any who want to see the new Xavier's Headmaster))
Rachel was in the middle of remodeling what was now her office. Xavier has finished up the semester and given her the office as hers. Though she currently had no clue how to decorate it. So things were looking a little bare with her desk and two chairs across from it for adornment.
She had plans for the estate on her desk. She sat in her chair and pinched the bridge of her nose. There were pages of the requirements for a being a certified school scattered on the floor behind her. She had posted about her open office before the summer semester began.
The redhead didn't know if having visitors would be a blessing or not.

"Oh? This isn't about the pool getting frozen over is it? I made sure that no one was in it when I froze it." She bit her lip. "And it was only the top. An inch, I made sure not to damage it."

Considering one of them was Magneto, it was a provocative choice. However, Rachel would not erase that history from the school.
She blinked at the pool getting frozen over. "Only an inch? Bobby needs to take you under his wing a little more. Our pools are built to withstand him at his most pranksome."
She took another sip of cocoa and momentarily set the mug aside. "No, more like since you're staying at this school on a permanent basis, you'll need a legal guardian. I have papers for you to sign."
Rachel glanced at one of her desk drawers. It opened and some papers and a pen floated out to settle on top of the desk.

"Well I was trying not to freeze it over too far. Just make it thick enough to walk on." She grinned. "Besides freezing it completely would take days to thaw, I wanted to go swimming later today."
That made her pause a moment. "They're going to agree with it? I mean my... the people that raised me are okay with it?" She did take the papers though reading over them. She knew better than to sign things without reading them over.

Rachel considered the not-quite parents. "They're having a bit more trouble proving they exist and have a legal claim on you. Those papers in your hands will assign you a legal guardian if you so choose to stay at Xavier's on a permanent basis. Right now, the guardian will be me. If Warren or Bobby wish to step in, the guardianship is transferable." Though technically if something happened to Rachel, Doug would be first in line.

She nodded. "I still get to stay in my room with Rose right? And won't be treated differently from the other students?" She didn't want to be treated special because she was the headmaster's ward after all. Bobbi toyed with the pen a moment watching her. "Because I do like it here, I feel safer here than I ever did back home."

"Nothing changes except if you get in trouble off-campus, I become the first to know." She smiled and picked up the mug of cocoa. "I'm already the first to know if it happens on-campus anyway."
no subject
"Hey, I've been good for the most part." She signed her name to the papers. "And really would you want Mr. Drake to show me how to use my powers? I don't think we need a second generation of his blood line nor Mr. Worthington's to top them both with pranks do you?"
She knew if she went too far with a prank she'd have to deal with the punishments, but as long as she kept them down to mile distractions and didn't hurt anyone she could probably get away with them.
no subject
"Not that you heard that from the headmaster or anything." She smirked slightly before taking a drink of her cocoa.

She did grin though. "I'll make sure not to get too carried away."

"Yes, no more ugly shoe incidents. And if you do it to pretty shoes, you'll be in real trouble." Rachel gave her a wink as she reached for the cupcake.
no subject
"Hey, pretty shoes are spared. Promise." There might be a glimpse of a planned prank on her roomie, but it was gone in a moment.
no subject
"Well, since I have your promise, you're free to go. I'll see you around campus." She took a bite of the cupcake and made appreciative noises.
no subject
"Yes ma'am." She grinned.
