Gallery LeBeau Grand Opening (Open to all)

Once things had gotten settled and she realized she had more than enough of her own works to display, Alisa rented out some gallery space in Manhattan to showcase it all. She was positively giddy about getting her work out in the open, as well as teaching art classes from her personal studio. All were close to her apartment, so she merely had to walk over to the gallery to open the doors.

The sign above the Gallery simply said "Gallery LeBeau", which gave her a sense of pride. This was something she always dreamed about doing. Now that the Guilds were out of her life and she had finally gone legit, things were really looking up.

Tonight would be a "free night" to display her artwork, before she would begin charging admission. Only half of of the paintings were priced to sell, while the others would be kept in her private collection. No food or alcohol would be served at this event, as it was something Alisa hated seeing at Art Galleries. People should not get wasted or stuff themselves while viewing artwork! It could only lead to disaster!

Dressed in a rather retro 1950's dress with white gloves and a matching red high heel on her foot (as her other leg had no need for a show. The glories of having a prosthetic), Alisa stood behind the desk in her gallery. She waited for people to come in and see the all the art she had on display.

Vincent showed up on time, his... companion(?) for the evening in tow. He'd dressed up a bit, and was looking rather dapper in black with a slight green accent here and there.

Mira hadn't meant to dress up, it was just Vincent had said art gallery, so she knew her typical jeans and tees wouldn't work. Black sandals and the only purse she owned, a black bag big enough for the basics, with a chain strap completed the look.

She did slip her arm in his though, if only because despite loving being on stage, when not preforming she hated gawkers. "Best behavior, I know." Okay the comment was mostly to herself but really she wasn't sure what to talk about.

Vincent is totally okay with having Mira on his arm.

"I wasn't especially worried about that." He reassures her, then adds. "If anyone's rude to you, I can make it so they spend the next few weeks having uncontrollable horrible reactions to the words 'parsley', 'restroom', and 'synergy'."

That actually made her laugh. "It was more to remind me don't do anything I'd normally do." Like run the sandals were flats but the shirt was shorter than she usually wore.

She nodded to Alisa at her introduction. "And remind me to stay on your good side Vincent. And never start a prank war with you." She had a feeling it would get really nasty before there was a winner.

"You'd lose if you fought, but you could probably talk me down from it." He smiles at her as they walk up to the first painting. He can't remember the last time he went to a museum or gallery of any kind without having to watch Audhild.

Mira fought the urge to get technical about the bike seeing a few small details that would blow the bike up if it were real.

"Oh? Worried I can't keep up with your pranks?" She did flash him a faint grin.
