The New Guy... (Open to all X'ers)
A yellow cab pulled up to the Xavier Institute, it's breaks making a bit of a squeal as it did so. Once parked, the cab driver got out and opened the passenger's side door, then moved to open the trunk of the cab, all while grumbling about the inquisitive man he had just driven here. After the passenger got out of the cab, and the steamer trunk was laid on the driveway, the cabbie took off, appearing to have been paid in full. Thank goodness for card readers in cabs these days.
Dolemeck Night stood before the mansion. It was much larger than he had anticipated, and rather grand looking. It looked like his private school, only three times the size! This was certainly going to be a change. With a light backpack by his side, he started to walk towards the main doors. His leg braces making his movements look somewhat "stiff" as he tried to make his way there.

"And, of course, we'll also have classes to help you develop your other talents."

That last sentenced allowed Dolemeck to give a small laugh.
"Do you have any more questions for me, Professor Ramsey, Sir?"
no subject
He nodded. "A few more, and we've got a good bit of paperwork for you to fill out, so why don't we get started on that?"

He trusted his things would be sent up to his new living quarters, wherever they were in the Institute. He only took out the papers showing his test scores and medical history. This way, it would make some of the paperwork somewhat easier.
"Professor Ramsey, Sir?" he looks up from the paperwork for a second. "My brother has also asked that I take citizenship classes, in order to become a citizen of this country for some reason. Would adding these classes in be too much?"
no subject
"I'm not particularly familiar with the path to citizenship," he said, "but we can certainly look into what you need. Our history and social studies curriculum's fairly robust, and if we need any exact details, Professor Logan was there for a lot of it."

He finally filled out all the paperwork, placing the papers neatly on Doug's desk, before he went back to sitting up. Back straight, knees together (or as together as his leg braces allowed).
"Here are my medical records, Professor Ramsey." he smiled, placing them on top of the paperwork. "And I have signed and given information to all the other papers."

"What questions do you have for me, Dolemeck?"

"May I have a schedule? I take awhile to get ready each morning... well, not that I am a prima donna or anything. But it is tedious to get my leg braces on by me self, so if I have a set schedule of when I am to be up, I can get myself ready an hour earlier and be in class on time."

Dolemeck then went to think about anymore questions he had. This was all so much to take in. He was in a new country, at a new school, and without his family close by.
"I am sorry, I cannot think of anything else I need to ask, Professor Ramsey. This is just so much to take in." He offered a small smile.
