"I see." She kicks the ball up catching it in her hands as they walked. "I'm from a suburb of LA. Well originally New York, but we left there when I was really young." She was falling into the story that she remembered even though she knew most of it was made up. For a background though, it beat saying a lab somewhere.

"Went to a private school where most of the graduates ended up going to military training, or upscale colleges." She slowed down a little realizing she was moving a little fast for him. "It sucked being the smallest in class there. But here, even though I'm one of the smallest they don't pick on me because of it."
