A few months had passed since Tina's boyfriend decided to confess to not being who he had said he was while simultaneously insisting that his feelings (and their relationship) were real. She had decided to go on vacation, then came back to New York for a bit, then decided that going back to the villa in Tuscany just would be uncomfortable and awkward. Steve-Quinn was welcome to stay as long as he wanted, though. She was mad, not going to make someone homeless.

She'd simmered down considerably, though, and decided to attempt to figure out where things were with them. She had no expectations, though she was pretty sure no Italian hookers had been involved. She left a message with Steve-Quinn asking him to meet her at a restaurant in New York. She knew he was in the city. She'd checked the customs computers.

"You met Tina Winston. You didn't exactly meet who you thought you did."

Tina looked down at her coffee.

"I am the biggest hypocrite in the world."

"Wait, what?"

Quinn looked at Tina with mild shock and a tad bit of annoyance.

"Hold on. You've been made at me for months because you didn't know my real name...and you never even told me /your/ real name?"

Quinn took a deep breath.

"You know what? Screw it. I'm not going to be mad. That would be hypocritical."

"Christina Winston is, in fact my real name. Part of it. The full legal deal is Christina Grace Winston Frost."

And she waited for him to connect the dots.

Quinn was actually a very good spy, which is why he kicked himself mentally for not figuring it out sooner. But now that he saw her...

"Your mother is Emma Frost? As in...the businesswoman and corporate shark? You're kidding, right? Please say you're kidding." Quinn said.

"I'm not. Your face right now is precisely why I moved to Europe, ditched my surname, and decided to do my own thing for awhile."

"I'm sorry. That was mean. I just talked about how I didn't want to be me and I gave you grief over your name." Quinn said.

"Is there anything else I need to know?"

"I'm a mutant. My primary skill is that I can jack pretty much anything tech or electrical, which is why my computer runs so well. I have some childhood friends with questionable morals because rich kids."

"I'm a mutant, too. Three of my five senses are superhuman. I'm not proud of it because reasons." Quinn said.

"Both of my parents are Avengers."

"You mentioned that. So I went through every possible database and sniffed you out. I had no idea SHIELD kept such precise measurements on people."

"That's...a little creepy. Not gonna lie."

"Well it's not exactly meant to be warm and fuzzy. I'm a human network interface. It's a little special."

"So what comes next? Do you want to go on a date with me? I'm Quinn. I like tacos, Italian food and I'm good with my hands in case your sink needs fixing." he said.

"You don't like Italian food. You like spaghetti and that's pretty much it. Which is kind of sad considering we lived in Italy," she reminds him. "Yeah. I'll go on a date or two with you, see how it plays out."

"Spaghetti is Italian. It counts." he said.

"Where do you want to go?"

"Oh planning this date thing is your responsibility, sir. You're on your own for this."

"Hey, wait a second! How can I do something you like if I don't know what you want?" Quinn asked.

"Give me a clue?"

"If you don't have some clue of what I like after living with me for almost a year then I don't know that even God could help you."

"Don't worry. I've got a some ideas. Tomorrow night, seven o'clock." he said.
