Operation: Reiko

Alisa cringed as she drove back to the city in her new car. After spending more time by herself, she realized something. There was someone who desperately needed her help, or else she was going to end up on the same path she took. And unfortunately, she also realized she needed help from the ONE person she swore she was never going to go near again. A double edged sword if there was one.

After much thought, Alisa made the hard choice of going back on her promise, again... but this time for a good reason. Besides, once this was over, she could part ways and get on with her life, right? After driving up to The Soho House, she allowed the valet to take her car, and made her way inside. She had membership due to all the work she did in the city, along with her fortune. Lucky her.

She made her way inside of the club, and then headed for the spa area, the one place she knew where to find the person who could help her with her plans. After rolling her eyes and giving off a sigh, Alisa made her way into one of the private rooms that housed that person.

"Alistaire, we need to talk. I need your help with somet'ing... and unfortunately, you are de only one who can help. Will you hear me out?"

Alistaire hunches next to the table, letting his shadow fall over it, attracting some of the fish into the shade. He sets the wand flat against the water, flexing the water's surface tension but not rushing in. He watches the fish move carefully, his arm tracking one in particular. Finally, with all the precision of a stiletto seeking an artery, he darts the wand in and out of the water, leaving a fish suspended in mid-air for a moment, before falling gently into his bowl.

Reiko clapped along with the kids grouped around to watch.

"Wow you're good mister" A few of the little kids said showing their wands were ruined from their attempts.

She handed over the treat for him as she touched the bowl lightly. It was cheating a little, but broad healing she could do, just tired her quicker, and if done right no one would know.

"It's not that hard just takes practice." She smiled at the kids, getting a wand herself she moved to sit down to show them... Only she managed to not catch a fish. "Guess it's not as easy as Sensei makes it out to be is it?" She giggled when the kids all laughed.

Alistaire watches Reiko's interactions with the children. His expression is like a normal person watching a nature special. He understands all the basic principles, but he can't really imagine himself in such a situation. He whispers over his shoulder, in perfect Nagoya-accented Japanese.

"Mind your words. Children are smart."

He returns his focus to the game, procuring another fish. He examines the wand for how much longer it might last, then beckons Reiko overe. "Here. I'll teach you."

Reiko may be able to fool the kids, but anyone who was really paying attention would see each movement, each smile was carefully crafted, the doctor was good at playing her roles when needed. Her Grandfather had seen to that.

"Careful sensei, these kids might catch the double meaning." Her words were in Russian, taking a chance he'd know it.

"You can take it in whichever meaning pleases you most, Reiko-chan." He returns the Russian, but leaves the honorific. Alistaire grips her wrist gently and hands her the wand as he slips into place behind her.

He helps both her arms, positioning his head beside her right cheek. "Wait for it... it's not just watching. Striking is about feeling the moment."

She blushed again, and was careful to make sure he only touched one hand.

She nodded letting him move her hand as he wanted. "I did not mean it in a bad way I thought it was funny."
