That is what it was appearing. Just like some trained killers, she appeared to "separate herself" from what she had done, or does to people. Though she had some memories of what she had done (such as the raid she was on with Alistaire), something was just wrong. And that wrong would be her "overloading".

Her eyes widened, seeing a man in a motorcycle suddenly pull up. She was scared. She was actually scared. She fell back some, wanting to flee, but practically frozen in place. Either horrified by her actions, or terrified of the current situation.
