Lounge Day (open to Avengers)
Ree spent most of her time at the Mansion holed up in the lab, the gym, or her room. She didn't socialize much and it had required near-bribery to get her to come down for the last pizza night. She just couldn't spare the time, she told herself. She needed every moment for her project.
But a few months in nothing was closer to being solved. She was running both out of time and out of energy. And her headaches were worse. Maybe she needed a break. With that in mind she crept out of her room and went down to one of the common areas.

She stepped into the common area from another interest and eyed Mira and Ree with interest. It was, she decided, nice to have some girls around the place. Even today, the Avengers sometimes felt like something of a boys' club.
Granted, this was something Roxie'd had less issue with back when she was single, but now...
"Late night for everyone?" She didn't know Mira well, and she knew Ree even less, but here they were.
Why not make the most of it?

"I'm not new. I've just been busy," she explained to Mira.

"Not that late for me. Just destressing without the gears." Or actually trying to avoid hopping over to Jersey via her bike just to do something. She didn't think the cops would like her jumping semis in armor mode.

The blonde Kreek lowered herself into an easy chair and placed the over-sized bowl of popcorn onto the table. "Help yourselves," she said. "I couldn't sleep myself."
She smiled a little awkwardly. Beyond some brief friendships, Roxie had never really been friends with much of her gender. She'd always been a guy's girl type of person.
This was fairly new territory, and they were all virtual strangers, despite being teammates.
"Thought I'd do popcorn and Netflix or something."

"Netflix?"

She grins to Ree. "It's a movie rental site."
