Mira was sore all over, the training session with Nicky had taught her one thing at least. Out of armor she was in WAY over her head. Not that she was going to complain though. Only reason she had ditched the armor was the simulation had thrown an EMP at it that had taken it out for a few minutes.

Despite being sore she was on the bike, mostly to get some fresh air. thumbing the button to open up a com channel she had the bike's AI call up Vincent, she was in the mood to actually just do something silly, and figured might be fun to drag him along. Coney Island would work, her bike could get jealous of a roller coaster for all she cared. "Hey Vincent, you busy with anything? Well okay anything with time constraints?"

As soon as Mira's hand is out of the way, Vincent puts his own hand into her hair, pulling her in for a kiss. Because he's out with his girlfriend(?) and that's the sort of spontaneous thing people who are dating do.

At the touch she paused, at first not realizing what he wanted until he pulled her in for the kiss.

Letting him start it she slipped her arms around his waist. "So, are we counting this as a date date?" She smiled, she wouldn't object to it if he didn't.

He put a hand on her cheek and nodded, before kissing her forehead. "We're a young man and woman spending the day at Coney Island, so yes, I'd like that very much. In fact, I'd like to have a lot more real dates with you."

She smiled slipping her arms around him.

"Then are we going to have to come up with cute names for each other? Because I really suck at it." She moved up on her toes a little so she could kiss his lips, totally ignoring a group of teens that 'ewww'd' them. As they walked past she might have flopped them off though. "Because I'm game for the real dates bit."

"Sure. Keep them simple though. You'll be Thing One. I'll be Thing Two." Vincent deadpans. Father had never approved of the books he'd smuggled out of town from Mr Rogers and Thor's homes, but he still remembered them. He'd read a number of them to Audhild as well.

She giggles a little. "But what if I want to be red fish and you be blue fish?" She thought about it again. "Maybe not."

He takes her by the shoulders and turns her around, pointing into the distance. "If you like, we could go to the aquarium and find some fish to consult on the matter."

She trembled slightly. "Vincent, you know how I am with water still. Can we avoid that first? At least get one roller coaster behind us?" She wasn't against it fully at least, just really hesitant about going into a building filled with sea life and water.

He frowns in disappointment. "I thought a place with all of the water safely held captive would be like baby steps. I'm sorry."

This many years removed from Battleworld, and it still felt odd to apologize for anything.

She giggles a little leaning against him. "Pet store would be baby steps. That's more throwing me into the shallow end of the pool. I think I might be able to handle it if you're there." She turned kissing him.

He shakes his head slightly, still finding the whole aquaphobia a bit incomprehensible, but not wanting to be rude to his girlfriend.

"Okay, rollercoasters first."

"I promise, you'll be able to get me in them, but don't be surprised if I have a death grip on your hand near the jellyfish or sharks okay?" She gave an impish grin. "Besides, this'll be more fun don't you think? Do all the thrill rides first then enjoy the stuff that would be more entertaining to try to sneak kisses in?" She whispered in his ear after, "If we weren't tied to the Avengers I'd say maybe more, too bad we have to be upstanding citizens."

"Hey, I work for Stark. No-one expects me to be an upstanding citizen."

"Good point. Though, I have to be. Next time a movie then... Yeah that would work better," She smirked.

"My couch or yours?" He smiles, challengingly. For now, he offers her his arm, and nods towards the rides.

"Yours. Mine we'd be fighting Jolly Green for the remote." That and though Roxie didn't seem to mind felt weird thinking about if she walked in.

Vincent snorts. "I'm not afraid of him."

It's an easier retort than confronting the issue of wondering if she's embarrassed to be seen with him around the Avengers.

"Fine," She grinned as they walked. "Next date, you can come pick me up then how's that?" She had no problem being seen with him at least. "Ugh, looks like there's a twenty minute wait. Should we try something else first or risk the line?"

He assesses the line, then turns back to her. "I suppose that depends entirely on how you'd like to pass twenty minutes." He winks at her.

She grinned. "What do you have in mind?" She slid her arms around him.

Vincent took her by the shoulders and pulled her against him, kissing her more aggressively this time.

Mira yelped into the kiss when she was pulled closer, but leaned into him folding her arms around him returning the kiss. She liked this side of him, and trusted that they'd remember to go slow. After all he had recently broken up with someone and she hadn't been on the dating scene for a while.

Though those thoughts were actually a little further down on the priorities, after all, hello kiss!

Eventually coming up for air, Vincent leans his forehead against hers.

"...I'm sorry, what were we talking about?" He grins.

She grinned a little at him. "You know I think I forgot. There was something about a ride, but it really isn't important is it?" She purred a little sliding her arms up so they were draped over his shoulders.

"I think I'm content to let you decide what's important for today." He tilts his head so he can lean in and nibble at her ear, hands falling down to her hips.
