Top scientists at MIT had been researching new technologies, including the development of software which could handle pan-dimensional level calculations.  The projected applications had been hailed as revolutionary by the likes of Tony Stark and Reed Richards...

Which made it the perfect target for the continuing crimes of the Lethal Legion.   Sabertooth, the Owl, the Radioactive Man, and Mentallo had been sent to retrieve it.

The attack quickly made the news.

Fortunately, the local super-heroes, the New Mutants, were not far away in New Jersey...

With the New Mutants being a small team, it was easier for them to mobilize that others. A quick stop in New York to pick up their fourth and the flying New Mutants Mobile (as Aiden liked to call it since Gnome Mobile had been shot down) set down in Killian Court.

The young Mojoworlder adjusted his uniform a little.

"Ready to punch people invading Val's campus," he informed the others as he waited for the exit to open. He was apparently not allowed to jump from the jet while it was in motion.

Sabertooth

Fortunately, Stephanie was correct. At least to a certain extent. All of the Lethal Legion bore the names of other super-villains who can come before them, though that didn't make them any less dangerous.

The new Sabertooth (who probably wouldn't last very long should the old one ever get wind of someone using his name), waved a clawed hand in the air.

"C'mon!" he shouted towards the jet. "You hero types gonna wait all day?"

The Owl

The Owl perched atop a nearby lamppost, a pair of bladed throwing stars in his hands.

Mentallo

Mentallo lifted a car with his telekinesis, preparing to throw it at the first opportunity.

Radioactive Man

The new Radioactive Man began to power up, readying a blast of radiation for the first do-gooder to come his way.
