[Godstorm] The Aftermath

The Godstorm made landfall just outside of New York City. Though the massive storm did not stop once he hit land. He pushed further inland. Rain battered large swaths of land behind him. While the fury of the weather abated once he made landfall, he was still a powerful storm making weathermen consider new careers.

The Godstorm was after something, and he was willing to go over land and lose some power to get it.

Though those left in the cities behind him had to clean up from the massive flooding, wind-damage, and rampant power outages.

Storm and Thor rallied X-Men and Avengers. Both had unique insights into this intelligent storm. Both knew it had to be stopped. So they grabbed those in both camps who would be of use fighting a massive storm.

Though he had exhausted much of his solar charge during the night, Bruce had managed to get his energy levels back to maximum by siphoning electricity from a downed power line. He and Jay had been working long hours helping in numerous small ways, but now he was responding to the call to do more.

The school was safe and in good hands when Storm had asked for Rachel's assistance. Considering the size and scope of what they were heading into, the headmistress decided the best place for her to be was helping out. She sat calmly still as the Blackbird flew into the storm.

She listened to the murmur from the cockpit of Storm organizing their movements with the Avengers.
