Party Aftermath

Fred growled to himself as he trudged to the kitchen. What in the name of all logic possessed him to go on that trip with Dolemeck? Oh yes, his entire lack of an adolescent life, but still... His head was ringing, how could people be so damned loud? And sing so off-key? He cursed as he opened the medicine cabinet, hoping to find something strong enough to fight this migraine that threatened to split his skull.

"Lovely! We're all on the same page!" Dolemeck said between breaths.

"I will just stay right here, while you two meet-up with the good doctor."

"Good," Rose said. "C'mon," she told Fred. "Ya need to lean on me?"

Fred grunted, lifting an arm that was not quite built for the rest of his weight. "I've been in worse conditions, but thank you." He didn't sound like he was being stubborn, just stating a fact.

A smallish grin played across her face. "And I thought I was stubborn."

He looked annoyed. "I am stating a fact."

"Uh-huh," Rose said. "C'mon."
