The Great Summer Road Trip

Sean, Rose, and Dolemeck had frankly become bored during the summer. Dolemeck finished filming the televised intervention of his father, Sean had nothing to do, and the same with Rose. The three got to talking one night, and an idea was hatched. A road trip to see the American west. The old ghost towns in Nevada, the deserts in Arizona, the Grand Canyon, and camping under the stars. It was a wild idea... a wildly brilliant idea.

Dolemeck helped with packing up the car. They had tents, supplies, extra clothes, everything they would need to survive the road trip. All they needed now, was to get on the road.

"I think we can head out!"

"He'll be fine," Rose said. "What's the worse that could happen?"

Sean looked at her with a frown. "Did you really just say that?"

It took a moment for Rose to respond. "Aw... Dangit!" She pounded the steering wheel with one hand, then threw the car into a rapid U-turn.

Just as Sean and Rose turn their car around, they pass a colorful looking school bus headed in the direction they were just in. It looked like something out of Woodstock, and no doubt something to laugh at later.

By the time they did return to the rest-stop, however... Dolemeck was gone. It was dark outside, and there was no sign of the Brit and his guitar.

Sean saw the van, and under other circumstances he may have made a joke about it. However now he wasn't in the mood as scanned the area. He gazed at the road for a bit.

"Looks like a vehicle stopped here."

Rose scowled. Professor Red was gonna blow her stack.

"I blame you for this."

"Me!? How is this my fault?" He asked indignantly.

"Would you please keep it down! Some blokes are trying to sleep up here!" Dolemeck shouted down from the top of the rest stop. He then blinked, looking down over the edge of it.

"Wait... did you finally come back for me? Oh, thank God! I was almost kidnapped by a group of hippies headed to "Burning Man"! I floated up here when they were not looking to get away."

Rose crossed her arms and looked up at him. "Kidnapped. Right."
