Jay roared something inarticulate and launched himself at the giant in the middle. His flaming hands looking for a grip and then smash. He was too busy seeing gamma green to pay attention to what any of the other Avengers were doing.

"Holy...!" Bruce shouted, dodging around arrows for the time.

He fired off some photon blasts in the general area they had come from.

Vincent throws some light and noise into the giants' faces, trying to imbalance them. He can't intensify it too much, or it'll catch his comrades in the same barrage.

Roxie shoots forward towards her speared Frost Giant. She pulls her glowing red mace back and then brings it forward, intent on bashing its head in.

For a second, all Nicky can see are cartoon lightning bolts and images of prancing Loki.

They give away to the visage of a Frost Giant coming towards him, grinning wickedly.

Nicky's eyes narrow and he lets out a warrior's yell before going straight for the giant, aiming to tackle it and then strangle it with its own necklace.

Once the area was cleared of civilians, Marcus took stock of his comrades. It looked like most of the heavy hitters were doing fine on their own and in ragey bursts of violence he didn't need to be getting into the middle of. Instead, he made his way over to Erin and waited beside her, ready to snatch her away on Aether if the giants realized what she was doing.

Erin is focusing a great deal on what she is doing. She is only barely aware that Marcus has gotten near her. She is trying to boil Frost Giants when she feels something change and suddenly there is more cold coming from somewhere.

She is puzzled but focuses her powers even more.

Jay will find himself both burning and grappling with a Frost Giant. The other two start trying to lay a beat down on the normally jolly green giant.

Some of the arrows get burned out of the sky. Mostly though Bruce lands some solid hits on an archer.

The bash connects and the giant screams as it's body is super heated by Roxie and the water close to it's body heating up.

The Frost Giants have noticed Erin. Someone who looks like a leader points at her. She's going to be in trouble fast.

The Frost Giant roars right back at Nicky and charges him. They're about to go head to head.

Jay was more intent on the one his was atop of and pummeling, which turned out to be a mistake if he had been a bit calmer of mind. One of the other two grabbed Jay's hand and yank backwards. It threw Jay off-balance enough for plenty of giant blows to rain down on him.

It was sunny enough. Bruce concentrated his energy into strength and flew to land a punch on a giant's jaw.

"Marcus! Vincent! Protect Erin!"

"On it!" Vincent takes flight towards the giant at the front of the charge, hovering in front of it's face.

He meets its gaze and lets loose one of Mother's favorite spells. "The one right behind you,--" he gestures to another giant, "--has insulted your bloodline, defiled your wife, and slain your offspring. Believe it to be true."

He pulls back immediately, heading to remove Erin.

Yeah, that was what Marcus was afraid would happen. He reached down from the saddle and grabbed Erin to pull her up onto Aether with him. "Hope you can do all that water voodoo on the move."

He gave his horse a nudge with his heels and they took to the sky, heading up to (hopefully) above the giants' reach.

There was a whoop of joy from Roxie as the Frost Giant she'd attacked had gone down. She whirled in mid-air, seeking her next target - - or waiting for her next target to seek her out.

Head to head with a Frost Giant, Nicky considered as he raised his axe high. Mother would be proud.

Erin nearly headbutted Marcus when he grabbed her. All of her focus had been on boiling the water around the Frost Giants.

"Just hold onto me. All my focus is on doing what Bruce seems to think I can get away with.... I'm gonna be seriously light headed after this," she grits out as she feels her head throb as water starts to boil in the air around a few of the giants not currently engaged in direct combat.

For now Jay will have Frost Giants hitting him. They want him to stay down. Others seeing Jay is down move to help their comrades even if many of them are suffering from the mysterious heat pouring through the air from the water getting boiled by Erin.

Bruce knocks the Frost Giant he punched back dazing it.

"You! I will kill you," roars a Frost Giant attacking his comrade all because of Vincent.

Roxie will not be left alone in her dance on the battle field. Several Frost Giants start to attack her. With swords and clubs they wish to make her bleed.

Nicky will have his battle with a Frost Giant. The giant comes in swinging widely.

Jay was getting angrier with each blow that landed. He lashed out in every way he could, trying to get a hold on some sort of giant body part. When he got a good grip, the Hulk tried to toss the captured giant into one of the others.

Bruce concentrated, pumping more of his energy reserves into strength. He hit it again.

He trusted Marcus and Vincent to do their job.

"Don't worry. I won't let you fall." Aether was smart enough to do the flying on his own with little input from Marcus, so the majority of his attention was on holding onto Erin and keeping an eye out for low flying problems.

Noting the pile of giants ganging up on Jay, Marcus maneuvers Aether closer to him so that Erin's boiling action will affect the ones attacking his green friend.

Marcus seems to be keeping Erin at a relatively safe distance, so Vincent momentarily shifts his focus, although he still flies close to them.

He just needs to make visual contact with Jay for the spell to work. One of the earliest ones he'd invented as a child, back when the most fun thing in the world was to watch Mrs Barton's musclebound son run through walls.

And... there, he's got the shot he needs.

"SUGAR RUSH." Vincent puts some nitrous in the young Hulk's tank.

Roxie fends off their attacks, ducking here, dodging out of the way here, swooping up above an arm there. Does she get hit? Yes, of course she does. There's a good number of them? But now, as in war (as it once used to be in sex), the more, the merrier.

There may have been a whoop of bloodlusty joy from her little section of the battlefield as she fought off the Frost Giants.

Nicky let the Frost Giant swing wide. He went the other way, his cape flapping furiously. He was going to go behind the frost giant and take him him down from there.

Hopefully with the giant being too slow to notice what Nicky was up to.

Erin sees what Marcus wants her to do. So she focuses her powers on the Frost Giants attacking Jay. Then slams hot water into their backs. She wants to drive them off of Jay so that they can fight back.

For a moment Bruce is winning. Then the Frost Giant recovers then punches back as hard as he can.

There is screaming from boiling giants and Jay throwing one onto the others. Jay has the chance to change the nature of the fight.

Honestly the Frost Giants are having just as much fun as Roxie is. Some of them are hurt but they work as a well trained machine. They counter some of her attacks but not all.

And the Frost Giant Nicky is fighting is very confused! Where did he go?!

When Jay had an opening, albeit with screaming and crashing around him, he jumped at it. And at a Frost Giant. Though with the unexpected, added boost from Vincent, Jay's strength got a bit away from him.

He hit the giant and the both of them went crashing into a building.
